
As the evening is drawing to an end, I have had time to think over what i have achieved and experienced over the last four days here at SMA. I think the word that sums up the four courses attended is 'inspiring'. They have an attitude that everything is achievable, something that we brits sometime lapse. There is a synergy between Caplor Energy at SMA's vision and values something i'm sure will be developed upon in the future.

From a technical point of view it has enabled us polish our skill-sets in areas of design, monitoring, control, communication and maintenance. The possibilities of integration and scope for bespoke projects is vast. I can't wait to start boring my family, friends with all the knowledge i have obtained. My mother has a fascination with 'quilting' so maybe 'solar' is not so sad!

Something i would like to start integrating to domestic installs is a client management and monitoring service. Using cloud computing Caplor will be able to monitor a infinite number of domestic systems and contact clients if there is a fault or anomalies with the system by e-mail, text or phone ( I'm sure most clients keep a close eye on performance its is good piece of mind to have somebody checking in the background) more to come in a few weeks so keep following the blog and website.
